Why I’m a Book Lady
I became a book lady over 25 years ago because I truly believe that children deserve high quality, engaging, and educational books. Seeing a child’s face light up as they browse our books is one of the most rewarding parts about being a consultant. The business grew quickly, as well as our team, and within a year we had 100 consultants on our team, I promoted to leader and were growing a leadership team. The business and team have continued to thrive. It’s rewarding to share something that provides such a positive impact on so many individuals.
Literacy is so important and PaperPie, previously known as Usborne Books & More, offers so many ways to make quality books available to children and their families. Our company Mission Statement states, "We gather for good around literacy and learning." I stand by our company’s mission statement, and feel honored to be a part of such an amazing company that is committed to providing books that brings families closer together and creates amazing memories to last for years to come.
So what am I doing here? “Getting GREAT books into the hands and HEARTS of children” and I’m super passionate about this. Books that children have access to matters! We want the books in their hands, AND in their hearts. When we have this combination, we are creating a positive impact that will last a lifetime.
